We all like to get some free goodies especially seeing as the global economy is all over the place right now. I thought I’d do my part and offer up these three new desktop designs, as free downloads. I have only created these in one size (1680×1050), but feel free to chop and crop as you require.

I’ve noticed a good few of us web heads have a blog and more recently I’ve noticed a trend of ‘lifestream’ style sites. My personal site is almost ‘lifestreamed’ but is slowly undergoing some tweaks as I get the time… It seems like the main aspects of a lifestreamed site is a twitter feed, various RSS feeds, Delicious bookmarks and flickr images etc. What do you think every lifestream site should have?

Unique sources of inspiration for designers. Part One.

They say inspiration can be found anywhere, this is so true. Sometimes you can find inspiration in your current wallpaper design, perhaps it’s something you spot while out walking the dog. Inspiration is everywhere…

Part one of ‘Unique sources of inspiration for designers’ is to showcase images that come to us courtesy of nature. What you will see in this post is a collection of images showing the unique shapes and colour combinations of corals. All the photos are of real, living animals kept in personal aquariums around the world. The particular creatures featured in this post are known as Long Polyped Stony corals, or LPS. The corals are often refered to collectively as ‘brain corals’.

Don’t Stop Dreaming Episode 1 premiere

Don’t Stop Dreaming is a bodyboarding documentary series being developed by Colin von Dongen. Pixeldeath.com are the music consultants on the project and we’re proud to announce the premiere of the first episode, Chasing Dreams.

The event takes place in London, UK at THE SLUG & LETTUCE, FULHAM at 19:00. Address details are as follows: 474 Fulham Road, London SW6 1BY
Entrance fee is £5.
DVD’S (£15) and BLURAY DISKS (£25) along with select clothing will be available on the evening.
