Unique sources of inspiration for designers. Part One.
They say inspiration can be found anywhere, this is so true. Sometimes you can find inspiration in your current wallpaper design, perhaps it’s something you spot while out walking the dog. Inspiration is everywhere…
Part one of ‘Unique sources of inspiration for designers’ is to showcase images that come to us courtesy of nature. What you will see in this post is a collection of images showing the unique shapes and colour combinations of corals. All the photos are of real, living animals kept in personal aquariums around the world. The particular creatures featured in this post are known as Long Polyped Stony corals, or LPS. The corals are often refered to collectively as ‘brain corals’.

Great idea for a series - and picking coral certainly floats my boat as a diver. Find some piccies of a nudibranch - these tiny little sea slugs are the most vivid and bright neon colours you will ever see in nature! Look forward to reading more sources of inspiration.
